MARION COUNTY — A 40-year-old Salem man received a 4-year prison sentence Tuesday in Marion County Court, after he pleaded guilty to a violation of the sex offender registry.
Christopher Petro pleaded guilty to a second or subsequent Class 2 felony violation for failing to report a change of address or employer as a registered sex offender. In exchange for his guilty plea a a second or subsequent Class 2 felony charge of providing false information as a registered offender was dismissed.
Also sentenced Tuesday in Marion County Court was a 28-year-old Salem woman to 3-years in prison for Class 1 felony residential burglary.
Charissa Plumb pleaded guilty to a September burglary to the garage of a home on West Allmon Street in Salem
And a 34-year-old Odin woman was sentenced to 2- years in prison after she pleaded guilty to Class 3 felony possession of less than 5-grams of methamphetamine.
Three Class 4 felony counts of possession of a controlled substance against Sarah See were dismissed per the plea agreement.
See will serve a concurrent 2-year sentence for violating her probation on a 2013 conviction for Class 4 felony unlawful possession of a stolen credit or debit card.
