RIVERDALE, Ill. (AP) — Authorities are seeking the public’s help identifying a body found last year in the garage of a suburban Chicago home owned by a man who had been repeatedly ordered to stop running a funeral business out of the residence.

The Illinois State Police says Anton Godfrey, who died in August, was improperly storing bodies prepared for burial.

The unidentified body was found in September in Godfrey’s Riverdale garage. Three other bodies and a box containing human ashes found at the same time have been identified. Authorities have notified the next of kin.

But the identity of the final body is a mystery. Dental records could be used if more information is provided by the public.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Illinois State Police.
