According to the LaCrosse Tribune, 38-year-old Eve Nance killed her husband Tim over his infidelity. Following an eight day trial, a jury on Friday found Eve Nance guilty of First-Degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.

She had initially reported her husband missing in November 2013. But his naked body was found in a wooded area on Milwaukee’s northwest side on Thanksgiving with two gunshot wounds to the head.

The prosecution cited testimony from the associate medical examiner for Fond du Lac County, who concluded that Timothy Nance’s two head wounds couldn’t have been caused if he was holding the gun when it fired, as the defendant had said, and lack of soot and stippling in and around those wounds indicate those shots weren’t fired inches from him.
