Danny “Boone” Evans

GLENRIDGE — Danny “Boone” Evans, age 62, of Glenridge, passed away on February 12, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, M0.

He was born August 25, 1953 in Centralia, son of Raymond Evans and Betty (Ritter) Evans. He married Cindy Wheile and they later divorced.

Evans, DannyBoone is survived by his mother, Betty Evans of Glenridge; a son Josh Williams of Centralia; a step-daughter, DeeDee Howell and husband Billy of Glenridge; one granddaughter, Emily Williams of Centralia; five step-grandchildren Lacey Moore and husband Justin, Garrett Howell, Cory Howell, Misty Howell, and Dusty Howell; two step-great-grandchildren Jacey Moore and Jayden Moore; one niece Michelle Jones and husband Doug of Edwardsville; one great nephew and two great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister: Shelia “Kathy” Evans; and his special companion, Louise Cuno.

Boone worked at Big 3 for 13 years. He enjoyed listening to music, building motorcycles and cars, and riding his motorcycle. Most of all he loved family gatherings and spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral services for Danny “Boone” Evans will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia.

“Boone” was an avid Harley rider and out of respect he will receive his last ride in the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home Last Ride Motorcycle Hearse. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the funeral home and from noon until the time of service Tuesday, February 16, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, which is assisting the family with arrangements.
