KELL — A classic Chevy vehicle suffered extensive damage Friday morning, when it caught fire while stored in a Kell barn.

According to Kell Fire Chief Lonnie McDaneld, the 1974 Chevy Nova caught fire around 10:45 a.m. Friday, and suffered extensive damage.

Firefighters remained on the scene for about an hour and were able to contain the damage from the fire to the vehicle owned by James Jeffords.
