Darold “Butch” Queen

flag-clip-art-american-flag-wave-metalCENTRALIA — Darold “Butch” Queen, 58 of Centralia, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Odin Healthcare Center.

He was born November 12, 1957 in Centralia, son of Darold “Bud” Huene and Shirley (Queen) Courtney. He married Anna Delaney and she preceded him in death.

Queen, Darold ButchIn addition to his father, Darold “Bud” Huene and wife Sue of Centralia, he is also survived by four brothers and three sisters: James Courtney of Centralia, Cindy Johannes and husband John of California, Jerry Courtney of Centralia, Ronald Courtney of Centralia, Kelly Courtney of Centralia, Darold Huene and wife Trina of Centralia, and Beverly Mansker and husband Pat of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.

Butch served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Nascar Fan. He also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Cardinals and the Centralia Orphans.

Per his wishes, Butch will be cremated and graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia with Pastor Seth Baltzell officiating. Military Honors will be accorded at the gravesite by the American Legion Post 446 and VFW Post 2055.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made family to offset funeral and medical expenses and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, which is assisting the family with arrangements.
