MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $75,000 for a 24-year-old Wamac man arrested following a Tuesday traffic stop in Centralia reportedly revealed multiple packages of methamphetamine.

Cody Matson has formally been charged with Class 1 felony delivery of less than 5-grams of methamphetamine.
Centralia police report that during a Tuesday traffic stop officers found Matson possessed a total of six grams meth in two separate baggies.

While Matson has been charged with a Class 1 felony, which is punishable by between 4 and 15 years in prison, his prior criminal history makes him eligible for Class X felony sentencing, which allows for between 6 and 30 years in prison if convicted.
