MOUNT VERNON — A shooting incident Friday night in the 700 block of South 18th Street in Mt. Vernon resulted in one male being taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound in the arm.
Mt. Vernon police report received a call about the shooting just before 11 p.m. Friday. They, along with EMS, and Litton Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
The injured male was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of the injury. No other details have been released at this time
