EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. — A Metro East man is headed to prison after pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated DUI resulting in death.

Jeffrey Rynders was driving drunk near the Clark Bridge in Alton in 2013 when he hit a motorcycle and killed a Wood River couple.

Rynders entered his guilty plea yesterday and will remain in custody at the Madison County Jail until he is sentenced. He faces six to 20 years will be required to serve at least 85-percent of his sentence before being eligible for parole.
