Ohio man killed in 3-vehicle crash on I-70 in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY — According to Fayette County Coroner Bruce Bowen, a 59-year-old Columbus, Ohio man was killed Thursday night in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 70.

David Duke was reportedly stopped in traffic at the 69 mile marker when he was struck from behind by a semi-tractor trailer.

Bowen pronounced Duke dead at the scene at 6:41 p.m. The crash remains under investigation by the Fayette County Coroner and the Illinois State Police. An autopsy has been scheduled at St. Anthony Hospital in Effingham.
