CENTRALIA — A late night stabbing incident in Centralia has police looking for two suspects believed to have fled from the scene on foot.

Just before midnight, Centralia police received a call about two men who were reportedly beating a 22-year-old man in the 100 block of North Johnson Street. The caller then said the victim, Richard G. Atchison, of Centralia, had been stabbed in the eye.

Police, fire, and EMS were all dispatched to the scene, where they found the victim had been cut under his eye. He was transported to SSM St. Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.

Two suspects in the incident reportedly fled the scene on foot, but have not yet been located.
