BENTON — A 36-year-old New Memphis man has pleaded guilty in federal court this week to a three-count Second Superseding Indictment charging him with Conspiracy to Distribute, and Possess with Intent to Distribute, Cocaine and Marijuana, Making a False Statement to a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, and Maintaining Drug-Involved Premises.

According to court records, Timothy Edwards faces penalties for Count 1 of no less than 5 years, no more than 40 years in federal prison; for Count 2 no more than 5 years in prison; and Count 3 no more than 20 years in prison.

His sentencing hearing has been set for October 21, 2016.
