DUQUOIN, Ill. (AP) — People planning to visit this year’s DuQuoin State Fair now have access to a new website to help plan their trip.

Fair officials announced Friday the new and improved website allows fairgoers to access information such as the daily schedule on their mobile devices.

They also can select their favorite foods from an online menu and find the exact location where they can buy it.

A special section of the website also provides information for exhibitors participating in competitive events, including deadlines, prize money and competition rules.

The fair in Southern Illinois is scheduled for Aug. 26 to Sept. 5.
