Mt. Vernon police are investigating a possible shooting incident over the weekend. According to police reports, officers responded around 3:20 a.m. Saturday to a report of shots possibly being fired near 15th and Logan streets.

Police say a man reportedly was jumped and shots were fired at his car. The man reportedly suffered a head injury in the incident but refused medical treatment.

Other reports indicate several shots were reported fired near 17th Street and Conger Avenue around 3:05 a.m., Saturday. Police are seeking information about yet another Saturday shooting incident.
