NASHVILLE, Ill. — Three departments responded early Sunday morning to a residential structure fire in Nashville.

The Nashville Fire Department, assisted by Addieville and Hoyleton Fire Departments, were called at 2:18 a.m. to 1035 South Kaskaskia for a fire at the home of John and Tammy Davis.

According to the report, the fire started in the attached garage and spread to the house. The garage was destroyed and the house suffered major damage.

The occupants were at home at the time the fire started and were awakened by smoke detectors. No injuries were reported. Firefighters remained on scene until 5 a.m.
