Weh was first on the scene, arriving in time to see the mother in delivery position and the baby’s head crowning.

Weh, who is also an EMT, helped the mother, Jessica Ramirez, deliver a healthy baby boy named Aaron at 7:17 a.m.. Weh then helped the Aaron’s father, Humberto Hernandez, to clean the newborn.

EMS crews from both Sugar Creek and Breese arrived shortly after the baby was delivered and transported both mother and child to the hospital.
