JACKSON COUNTY — Two Murphysboro men were arrested Sunday morning on charges they allegedly attacked someone with a Tazer and a knife.

 

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies went to a Murphysboro home around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night and learned that 21-year-old Billy Jack Reed and 23-year-old Dakota Digby allegedly attacked the victim using a taser/stun gun and a knife. Deputies were able to get search warrants for the home.

 

Deputies secured and executed search warrants for both Reed and Digby, as well as a for a home at 56 Hoover Road.

At around 7 a.m. on Sunday, deputies went to the home and found both Reed and Digby, taking both into custody.

They were both taken to the Jackson County Jail. Bail has been set at $50,000 each.
