MARION COUNTY — A 29-year-old Salem woman was sentenced Wednesday in Marion County Court to 2-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after she entered into a negotiated plea agreement with the state in multiple cases.

Tiffany Organ pleaded guilty to Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance and agreed that she violated probation in a Class 3 felony theft case. She was sentenced to 2-years in both cases to be served concurrently.

Per the plea agreement, a Class 2 felony charge of delivery of less than 15 grams of meth, as well as a seat belt violation was dismissed.

Bond in the cases where she pleaded guilty will be applied to combined fines and fees of more than $2,700. Once her prison term is completed, Organ will have to serve one-year mandatory supervised release.
