UPDATE: The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department has removed an earlier post regarding a Crimestoppers reward for the damage done to the Beaver Creek Bridge just east of Stolletown Road.

According to the sheriff’s department, there doesn’t appear to be as much damage done as originally thought.

CLINTON COUNTY — Clinton County Crimestoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for removing wooden planks from the bridge deck of Beaver Creek Bridge on Old State Road, east of Stolletown Road.

The removal of the planks caused a serious and possibly life threatening situation. As a result, the bridge has been closed until further notice.
