LADD, Ill. (AP) — Illinois State Police say they’ve found the body of a woman from Ladd who’s been missing since Aug. 22.

State police said Wednesday a body found in a shallow grave in Standard has been identified as 62-year-old Deborah Dewey. Standard is about 10 miles south of Ladd. Authorities say Dewey’s body was identified using dental records. Police say the investigation in her death remains ongoing.

State police say officers Tuesday executed a search warrant at a Standard home where they collected evidence and interviewed three occupants. One man, 66-year-old Clifford A. Anderson of Standard, is charged with concealment of death. He’s held on $750,000 bond. It wasn’t clear if he had an attorney.

Dewey was reported missing after she didn’t report to work. Her car was found in Morris on Aug. 29.
