WILLIAMSON COUNTY — School has only been in session a few weeks and one Southern Illinois school has already received a bomb threat.

According to authorities at the Johnston City High School in Williamson County, was evacuated just after 1 p.m. Thursday, after a note was reportedly found in a boys’ bathroom.

Students were evacuated to the football field bleachers and then to Washington Middle School where parents were allowed to pick up students for the day.
