SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Governor Bruce Rauner is near the bottom of the popularity list, according to a new national poll about the nation’s governors.

The website “Morning Consult” finds Rauner sixth from the bottom with only 33-percent of the public approving of his performance in office, while 56-percent disapprove.

It could be worse, though. Kansas Governor Sam Brownback is the least popular governor with a 23-percent approval rating and a 71-percent disapproval mark.
