WASHINGTON COUNTY — Bail has been set at $60,000 for a 31-year-old Irvington man charged with theft, burglary, and possession of methamphetamine.

Jordan Picard was formally charged Wednesday in Washington County Court with two Class 1 felony counts of residential burglary, one Class 1 felony count possession of between 15 and 100 grams of meth, and two Class 3 felony counts of theft by deception between $500 and $10,000.

A warrant for Picard’s arrest on the charges was issued on Wednesday, but he had been in custody since Monday.

Picard has also been cited for driving while license suspended and fleeing with the attempt to elude an officer.

He was arraigned on all charges Wednesday and pleaded not guilty. Picard was appointed a public defender and is next scheduled in court November 3, for a preliminary hearing. He remains in the Washington County Jail.
