FRANKLIN COUNTY — A DuBois man is behind bars in Franklin County in connection with a home invasion, armed robbery and aggravated battery that happened on Sept. 30 at a home in rural Mulkeytown.

Franklin County Sheriff Don Jones says a warrant for 29-year-old Jason M. Bauer was issued on Oct. 12 with several local addresses.
Jones says information was developed that Bauer had fled the area after the incident where a 24-year-old man was seriously injured when he was beaten by a hammer.
Bauer was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday evening and brought to the Franklin County Jail shortly thereafter.
Bauer is being held on armed robbery and aggravated battery charges. Bail has been set at $750,000.
The sheriff says the investigation continues and more arrests are possible.
