CPD investigating altercation that sent nursing home employee to hospital

CENTRALIA — Centralia police are investigating an incident Tuesday night at Bryan Manor sent one man to the hospital for treatment of a head injury.

According to police, they’re investigating a reported altercation involving a Bryan Manor employee, the spouse of another Bryan Manor employee, and possibly two other individuals.

CPD received a call from the facility around 6:40 p.m. reporting three allegedly armed subjects in the parking lot, one armed with a firearm, and one with a pipe, they were uncertain of the weapon allegedly carried by the third..

The subjects had left the area before police arrived but the injured employee was found in the parking lot. He had apparently been struck on the head with an unknown object but was reportedly conscious and alert. He was transported by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Police reportedly know the identity of the individuals involved in the alleged incident and are trying to locate them for questioning.
