CENTRALIA — Centralia Police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon incident they say resulted in a 16-year-old Centralia High School student being robbed of his cell phone after he got off the school bus at Hickory and Kell streets.

According to reports, the juvenile victim and another juvenile yelled something back at the occupants of a passing car described as a silver Nissan Altima.

The car, reportedly occupied by two black males and a black female, returned to the bus stop area and one of the boys was punched in the face before one of the suspects reached into the victim’s pocket and took his phone.

The other juvenile reportedly avoided being punched in the face and instead took a blow to the neck.

Neither juvenile accepted hospital treatment.
