Woman arrested for stealing nearly $600 in winning lottery tickets from employer

CENTRALIA — A 28-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing almost $600 in lottery tickets from her employer.

According to reports, Jessica Murray took $581 worth of tickets from Biggie’s Café and General Store in Centralia. She would apparently scan the tickets and cash in the winners.

Marion County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Murray Thursday after store management discovered the alleged theft.

Murray remains in the Marion County Jail.
