CENTRALIA — Kaskaskia College will likely be searching for a new leader, as Dr. Penny Quinn will be handing in her letter of resignation before Monday night’s regular meeting.

A revised agenda for the meeting has been issued and includes the acceptance of Quinn’s resignation along with discussion and potential appointment of an interim President.

Quinn will be paid for the remainder of the time on her three-year contract that expires on June 30th.

Quinn’s resignation comes following a special closed session meeting of the board held last Monday to discuss personnel.

The Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Lifelong Learning Center on the main college campus on Shattuc Road.
