CLINTON COUNTY — A 46-year-old Centralia man is in the Clinton County Jail for alleged delivery of meth after a joint investigation between the Carlyle Police Department and Centralia Police Department led to the execution of a search warrant at his home. The Marion County Sheriff’s Department and the Clinton County State’s Attorney’s Office assisted.

Cornell Fletcher was arrested at his 212 North Cherry Street home in Centralia where officers reportedly recovered 413 grams of “Ice” methamphetamine, two loaded handguns, scales, and baggies.

Fletcher was transported to the Clinton County Jail where he awaits the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
