Earl Edward Waggoner

SALEM — Earl Edward Waggoner, 77, of Salem, formerly of West Frankfort, Illinois and Benton, Illinois, passed away at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Doctors Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.

He was born on September 15, 1940 in Salem, the son of the late Forrest DeWitt and Bernice (Jackson) Waggoner.

Mr. Waggoner is survived by his brother, Douglas Waggoner and wife Mona of Salem, and nieces, Susan Sanders and husband Darren of Centralia, and Amanda Waggoner of Centralia.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Waggoner was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Waggoner and Jimmy Waggoner and sister, Geraldine Waggoner.

Mr. Waggoner was painter, who worked with his father in their family-owned painting company.

Per Mr. Waggoner’s wishes and the wishes of his family, he will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mr. Waggoner’s family (payable to the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home) and will be received at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia.
