CENTRALIA — Steven Ray Davis, 58, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Steven is survived by his special friend Toni White and family; one sister: Linda Chapman and husband Richard of Centralia; aunt: Shirley Harting of Centralia; two nieces: Amanda Heath of Centralia and Melissa Defend and husband Ryan of Centralia; one nephew: Tom Chapman and wife Savanna of Patoka; three great nephews: Jorden and Ayden Heath both of Centralia and Beau Chapman of Patoka; two great nieces: Lillie and Brylee Defend both of Centralia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jennie and a great niece Alyssa Heath.
Steven was a member of the Mt. Moriah Christian Church and served as a deacon for 20 years. He was also the caretaker of the Church Cemetery for many years. Steven and his father, Bill Davis, owned and operated Davis Radiator Service in Centralia for 34 years. He enjoyed collecting knives and going pheasant and squirrel hunting.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Mt. Moriah Christian Church in Centralia with Pastor Ron Periman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, which is honored to serve the Davis family with arrangements.
