FLORA — Flora Mayor Bob Tackitt died Monday at a medical facility in St. Louis following an illness.

The three-term mayor was a Vietnam veteran, he had also retired from the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office.

Funeral services for Mayor Bob Tackitt are pending with Frank and Bright Funeral Home in Flora.
