According to Centralia police, they first responded to James Strowder’s home on Marquis Drive after a child called 911 and the dispatcher could hear screaming in the background.

Upon their arrival, Strowder reportedly refused to give police his name and made threats to kill an officer as he tried to walk away from the scene.

Strowder was arrested for alleged intimidation, aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer.

He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he awaits the formal filing of charges and the setting of bail.
