Allison Opolony was arrested after police questioned her about money missing from the deposit funds on two recent days.

Opolony said she had taken the cash to help cover money that was stolen from a money bag that she had left in her car in November but had never reported as stolen.

She has reportedly returned $1,172 taken from the deposits, with $3,281 still reported missing.

Opolony was taken to the Marion County Jail and was formally charged Monday in Marion County Court with Class 3 felony theft. Bail was set at $5,000 and she posted $500 cash bond for release.

She’s next scheduled to appear in court March 15 for a first appearance with her court appointed attorney.
