NASHVILLE, Ill. — An 18-year-old Virginia man has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery last month of the BP gas station in Nashville.

According to the Nashville Police Department, Jordan MacBeth had turned himself in to the Madera County Sheriff’s Department in Madera, California, on warrants for deserting the U.S. Army, as well as on a $250,000 warrant from Washington County stemming from the January 31 armed robbery.

The Washington County warrant was the result of Nashville PD working with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

MacBeth remains in custody in California awaiting extradition back to Washington County.

The Nashville Police Department thanked the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Okawville Police Department, Culpepper County Virginia Sheriff’s Department , the Madera County California Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Army CID Unit for their help in apprehending MacBeth.
