MARION COUNTY — A two semi-truck crash Sunday on Interstate 57 reportedly resulted in a physical encounter between the two drivers.

Reports indicate the two trucks were northbound Sunday near the rest area south of Salem when just before 1 p.m. they sideswiped each other.

Following the collision the two drivers pulled in to the rest area where Russell Jenkins, of Centerville reportedly began yelling at and hitting the other driver who ultimately climbed back into his own truck until a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy arrived.
