BREESE — Central Community High School in Breese has selected a new principal to replace retiring Principal Kent Jones, and has a familiar name for our area.

The Central District 71 School Board picked 39-year-old Dustin Foutch to replace Jones, who will retire at the end of the school year.

Foutch has been principal for the last six years at Pinckneyville Community High School in Perry County, but his first teaching job was in his hometown of Centralia.

He was a science teacher and coach for the football, wrestling and baseball teams at Centralia High School for five years.

Foutch currently lives in Pinckeyville but plans to move to the Central Community High School District with his wife and daughters by the next academic year.
