Norman A. Boxx

KELL — Norman A. Boxx, 40, of Kell passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

He was born on January 6, 1978, in Centralia, the son of Ricky Sr. Boxx and Barbara Dailey. He married Mindy Hoepker on May 4, 2001, in Salem.

Norman was a devoted husband to his surviving wife, Mindy Boxx of Kell; he is also survived by his cherished sons, Addison Boxx and Mason Boxx of Kell; his father, Ricky Boxx Sr. and wife Patty of Junction City; his mother, Barbara Cushman and husband Brian of Kell; his brother, Ricky Boxx Jr. and wife Taunya of Kell; his sisters, Samantha Boxx and Beverley Boxx, both of Centralia; his step-siblings, Jeremy Massa and wife Rachel of Highland, Emily Massa of Junction City, Stacy Dodson and husband Tommy of Kell, Heather Cushman of Salem, and Brian Cushman Jr. of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

Norman was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his step-daughter, Jena Ann Marie Gelsinger.

Norman truly enjoyed his time spent outdoors. He had a gift for repairing cars that he loved to share with those in need. He had a generous heart and was always ready to help others in any way he could. Norman’s most treasured memories were of the time he spent with his boys Addison and Mason. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Celebration of life services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Pastor Mike Bookhout officiating.

Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday.

Memorials may be made in Norman’s honor to his sons Addison and Mason Boxx.
