The National Weather Service has advised of a Heightened Fire Danger across the area, today.

Dry fuels, strong and gusty winds, and low humidity will result in the possibility of grass/brush fires.

Very strong west winds today will combine with humidities dropping into the 20-25% range to set the table for critical fire weather conditions.

The winds are strong enough and humidites low enough to likely result in rapid drying of some fuels, despite a soaking rain on Monday.
