According to reports, Jeremy Lippert was seen driving a truck and upon seeing a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy sped up and failed to stop at multiple stop signs before jumping from the truck as he slowed when pulling into an alley.

Centralia police were called to assist in the search for Lippert who was quickly found hiding in a stranger’s screened porch. Officers reportedly found a contact lens case containing a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Lippert was arrested for alleged fleeing and eluding, driving on a revoked license and possession of under five grams of meth.

He had been released from jail earlier this week after Salem police arrested him during a traffic stop for alleged possession of a weapon by a felon.
