Norma Jean Dailey

CENTRAL CITY — Norma Jean Dailey, 97, of Central City passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Odin Healthcare Center.

She was born July 20, 1920, in Centralia, daughter of Jesse E. and Lillian (Reese) Knight.  She married Joseph H. Dailey and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter Sue Dailey-Queen of Centralia, grandson Korey J. Queen and wife Hilari of Centralia, and three great-grandchildren: Katie Queen, Kristen Queen, and Brian Queen.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandsons: Kevin and Kenny Queen, son-in-law: Howard Queen,  two sisters:  Hilda Davis and Vivian Sorrel, one brother:  Philip Knight.

Norma was a loving mother and grandmother.  She had attended the Central City United Methodist Church until it closed.  In her younger years, she was a office worker at her husband’s company D & D Trucking.  She was also a Pink Lady at St. Mary’s Hospital a number of years.

A Memorial Service for Norma will be held  Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Upchurch officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Centralia Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.  Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia is honored to be of service to the Dailey Family.
