SALEM — Mary Helen Donoho, 82, of Salem, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, at Odin Healthcare.
In addition to her husband of 63 years, Jerry Donoho of Salem, she is also survived by seven children: Jerry Wayne Donoho and wife Della of Salem, Tony Dean Donoho of West Frankfort, Terry Ray Donoho of Salem, Tracy Donoho and wife Courtney of Salem, Caralyn Elaine Donoho of Salem, Mary Eileen Hoss and husband Thomas of Salem, and Angela Joyce Somerville and husband Matthew of Salem; fifteen grandchildren: Jeremy, Justin, Emilie, Heather, Sam, Albert, Casey, Brian, Terrence, Abigail, Kathleen, Tiffany, Molly, Riley and Jaxey; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Clarence Fields and Dennis Fields; and a grandson: Logan Donoho.
Mary was a member of the First Church of God in Salem. She also was active in Sunday school as a Bible School teacher, the Women’s Group, Senior retreats, and Church Camp in the Decatur Campground. Mary volunteered at the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Odin. She enjoyed camping and flower gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Funeral services for Mary Helen Donoho will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018, at L.R. Osborn and Son Funeral Home in Kell with Brother Alvin Dial officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Iuka.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the funeral home.
