PATOKA — Due to confirmed cases among staff and students, Patoka High School is going on full remote learning for 14 days starting today. Students will return to in-class learning on Friday, September 25th.

In a letter to the community, Superintendent David Rademacher,  says all assignments during the 14 day period will count and daily attendance will be taken.  Teachers will reach out to parents in the event students do not participate during this time.

Breakfast and lunch will be available to pick up starting at 12:45 Tuesday afternoon.  Requests for breakfast and lunch can be made by calling the school before 9 am.

Rademacher is asking parents to continue to monitor the health of their children and report to the school nurse if they exhibit signs and symptoms of illness.  He also encourages limiting children from going out in public for the next 14 days.

Rademacher asks for all Patoka families’ patience and understanding during these complicated times and to know they care deeply for the students and will continue to work hard to do what is best for them.
