MARION COUNTY — A voter registration information session will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Centralia Youth Center at 1224 East Rexford Street in Centralia.

Anyone who is not registered to vote in the November election can do so at that time, which will also allow you to vote in the April 2021 consolidated election for local officials.

To register, you must bring your driver’s license or photo ID. Questions regarding early voting, mail-in voting, on-site poll voting, voting rights and poll locations can be answered at the Saturday event.

If you have any questions about the event, feel free to contact Bunny Garret at 618-533-1806.

The NAACP will also be holding a membership drive at the Saturday event. Anyone is welcome to sign up and become a member even if you don’t have the membership fee at the time.

For additional information, you can call Eric Collins at 574-286-6372.

Refreshments will be available for everyone attending. Anyone attending the event is asked to follow CDC recommendations and wear a facemask, as well as observe social distancing. If you don’t have a mask, one will be provided for you.
