More than 150 area residents tested positive this week for COVID-19

The Fayette County Health Department has reported five new coronavirus-related deaths this week, bringing their total number of fatalities to eight, with 33 new lab-confirmed cases.

Currently, 452 Fayette County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, with 85 individuals currently in isolation.

Clinton County health officials reported one new death this week related to the virus, bringing their total number of deaths to 21, with 45 residents testing positive this week for COVID-19.

Currently, 1,203 Clinton County residents have tested positive, with 171 in isolation including 7 who are hospitalized, and 1,059 who have been released from isolation.

Marion County has reported 35 new cases of coronavirus disease this week, bringing their total number of cases to 598, with 105 cases currently in isolation, 490 released from isolation and three who have died.

Jefferson County this week has reported 38 residents have tested positive for the coronavirus disease, bringing the total number of positive cases confirmed to 681, with 74 of those cases in isolation, and 575 released from isolation.

Washington County health officials reported three new cases this week, bringing their total number of residents to have tested positive to 219, with 200 released from isolation and one who has died.
