CENTRALIA — The Centralia Police Department executed a search Monday morning at a home in the 500 block of North Walnut Street in relation to an ongoing drug investigation.

According to Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson, at 6:45 a.m. Monday, the Centralia Police HRT Team along with the Region 9 ILEAS WMD team executed a search warrant without incident.

A male subject, 45-year-old Quentin P. Bradley, of Centralia was arrested after several controlled buys were conducted by the Centralia Police Department Investigations Division where it was also determined that Bradley was in possession of weapons during the sale of the controlled substances.

Officers arrested Bradley and took three others into custody who were at the residence at the time of the warrant but were later released.

Bradley was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and transported to the Marion County Jail in Salem.

Bradley is currently on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections and the arrest report has been forwarded to the Department of Corrections in order to have his parole revoked.
