WASHINGTON (AP) — A third Democratic member of the House who was forced to go into lockdown during last week’s violent siege at the U.S. Capitol has tested positive for COVID-19.

Rep. Brad Schneider represents Illinois. He says on Twitter that he tested positive Tuesday morning. Schneider says he is not feeling symptoms. Some members of Congress huddled for hours at a secure location.

Others were in the room for a shorter period. Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington state and Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman of New Jersey have also tested positive. They blamed Republican members of Congress who refused to wear masks.
