MARION COUNTY — Marion County authorities have released the name of the man found dead Sunday in a creek behind the Industrial park in Salem.

The man is identified as 39-year-old Aaron Christian Hall of London, Kentucky. Hall had been missing since October and its believed he died during that time frame or a short time later.

A forensic autopsy conducted Monday in Champaign did not reveal a definitive cause of death, nor definitely rule out any cause.
Toxicology tests in the case are still pending.

An investigation into Hall’s connection to the Salem area is ongoing, as is the investigation into what led to his death and how his body ended up in the creek behind Howell Paving.
