CENTRALIA — Wesley Bivens, 31, of Centralia passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021.
He was born December 10, 1989, in Centralia, the son of David Bivens and Tina Bates. Wesley was raised by his grandmother, Rose Bates.
In addition to his parents, David Bivens of Odin and Tina Bates of Centralia, he is also survived by his grandmother: Rose Bates of Centralia; son: Ethan Bivens of Highland; six brothers: Jeffrey Bivens of Centralia, David Bivens of Arizona, Sam Bivens of Nebraska, Jarret Bivens of Urbana, Benjamin Bivens of Washington, and Brian Bivens of Odin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Wesley is preceded by his grandparents, a special aunt: Margaret and several aunts and uncles.
Wesley worked at Kaskaskia Workshop, Inc. for two years. He enjoyed watching Wrestling and hunting for Pokemon with his son, Ethan.
A Visitation for Wesley Bivens will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ethan Bivens Trust Fund and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, 618-532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Bates family and the Bivens family.
