MARION COUNTY — The Marion County Health Department has announced a program to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to Marion County residents who are home-bound.

Very specific eligibility qualifications will apply. Only residents who rarely or never leave their home, or those whose transport would require a significantly taxing effort, are eligible for this service.

If you are a home-bound Marion County resident who needs a COVID-19 vaccination, please call 618-548-3878, Ext. 217.

Please be prepared to leave your name and contact information (telephone number and address). Your call will be returned and a personalized assessment will be provided.

The service is available to homebound persons age 18 years and older since Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine will be used.

Johnson & Johnson is a single dose COVID-19 vaccine service and the health department says it will be available for a limited time, so those interested should not delay.

For those who have mobility issues, but who can leave home, MCHD offers curbside service for COVID-19 vaccinations.

To make curbside service arrangements, please call the office at 618-548-3878.
